Hi! My name is Emilia and I was born and raised in a small town 45 minutes from the Swedish west coast called Fegen. It has only about 200 inhabitants and is therefore very different from New York City. I’m currently pursuing a BA in Business with an orientation in Event Management back home, before that i studied in London for four months. In my spare time I like working out, watching sports, going on adventures even if they terrify me sometimes and watching movies. I’ve been told I sometimes talk very fast and can be somewhat over-passionate about things that matter to me.
So, about sports. I’m especially crazy about ice hockey and am a huge New York Rangers-fan. One of my accomplishments that I am most proud of (and will talk about as much as possible) is when I volunteered at the 2015 IIHF Women’s World Championship in Malmö. Through a couple of lucky mistakes I got to be in charge of the final day’s Bronze- and Gold-medal ceremonies, got a lot of compliments from ice hockey officials and I will probable relive that day for a very long time. My long term dream is to pursue a career within sports events, places like the international sports federations, professional teams or big venues are on the list of dream employers.
