One month in NYC

We have now been living in the city for one month, we are all working hard at our internships and trying to explore the city during the weekends. This week my friend Julian from Sweden came to visit me and Kirill. He was only here for four days so we had a lot of stuff to see.

We walked the Brooklyn Bridge, it was my first time even though I’ve already been here for one month. The bridge was full of people admiring Manhattans skylines. The only negative thing I have to say about the bridge is that both pedestrians and bicyclists share the walkway, so it was super crowded otherwise it was really cool because you could see the entire lower part of Manhattan and you could get some pretty good pictures.

We also walked the high line which was kind of cool. The high line is an elevated railroad in the lower part of Manhattan that has been abandoned since 1980. They have now redesigned it to a park. It’s something you have to visit if you ever come to New York, and I bet that during the summer it would be even more beautiful do walk the high line.

What else did we do? We visited the Rockefeller center, we walk around all of Manhattan, visited Chinatown, little Italy, east village, west village. We also visited the Met (the museum) but it wasn’t really our thing…
